Day of Action 06.21.08 

Volunteers throughout the Wiregrass were out in their communities on the longest day of the year, June 21st - the Summer Solstice, spreading the word about the launch of 2-1-1 in our area. 2-1-1 is an easy to remember, toll-free telephone number that anyone can dial to get connected with help and also will connect volunteers with various ways to give help. Thousands of local residents throughout our area received information about this social service tool thanks in part to our great volunteers taking a few hours out of their Saturday to better their community. We had a great time spreading the word about an awesome new program in the Wiregrass!
