will be hosting an informational training session for all new Loaned Execuitves on the following dates:

Wednesday, July 13th, 8am-2pm at Wiregrass Foundation Office in Dothan
- Thursday, July 21st, 8am-2pm at the Enterprise Rescue Squad Station

What is the Loaned Executive Program?
A
Loaned Executive (LE) is an individual selected by the CEO of a
business, industry or organization to work directly in the annual
United Way Campaign as part of work responsibilities. For a designated
period of time, normally 3 months, the employee schedules an agreed
upon amount of work time for campaign-related assignments. In most
cases, an LE is expected to allow 2-3 hours/week of work time for the
United Way during the annual campaign.
The Loaned Executive (LE) program is a unique opportunity for your valued employees to participate in the Wiregrass United Way's annual campaign as executives on loan. Loaned Executives become members of the UW campaign team working directly with CEOs and company campaign coordinators to plan, conduct, and report workplace campaigns. By design, they LE Program benefits you, your employee, the Wiregrass United Way and the community as a whole.
How does the LE Program benefit your company?

How does the LE Program benefit your employee?
They will attend a trianing session which includes training in selling UW, time manangement, public speaking and presentation methods, community dynamics and issues, how the United Way system works as well as make on-site visits to several UW Partnering Agencies.
How does the LE Program benefit United Way and the community?
A successful LE can help shorten the length of the WUW Campaign, improve campaign execution, aide in the timeliness of reporting, increases awareness of WUW throughout the community and provides a pool of knowledgable WUW Volunteers stationed throughout the Wiregrass.
What kind of commitment is this going to be?
The employer must commit to loaning the executive to WUW for the length of the training session and about 2 hours/week depending on respective accounts.
The Loaned Executive should attend the training session and begin working on accounts are assigned and training is completed. They should be prepared to report in with WUW Staff and Division Chairs on the status of their accounts and work them until completion.
