Agencies of the Wiregrass United Way

The Wiregrass United Way seeks to invest in the community in the most efficient way possible. This means that we try to locate an efficient organization working towards the same goals as us, and provide funding to those organization, instead of creating a new program for every need. In this way, dollars are not wated through duplicated overhead expenses, and the best organizations in the area recieve the funding they need to provide and extend crucial programs.

There are currently 37 agencies that are funded by the Wiregrass United Way, and each of these organizations are independent, federally recognized, non-profit entities which render direct aid to citizens in the Wiregrass according to their own individual missions.

In a broad sense, the agencies can be grouped into four Focus Area categories based on their particular service to the community. Each agency name links to a broader description of that agency, as well as contact information.
