Senator Harri Anne Smith of Slocomb will chair the next campaign for the Wiregrass United Way. Senator Smith was introduced as the new chair by outgoing Campaign Chairman Alfred Saliba at the conclusion of the Souper Celebration.
During the recent campaign Senator Smith was the Geneva County Campaign Chair. She helped lead her county to an incredible year. Not only were they the first of the five counties to reach their goal, by the end of the campaign they were at 129.55% of the goal. They raised $93,277 and the goal for Geneva County was $72,000.
